- I had 5 paintings in an invitational group exhibition, Civil Rights, Then, Now and When at South Carolina State University in Orangeburg, SC. A catalogue is available from the university exness.
- Wrote an article for Dec.-Jan. 2014 issue of the International Artist magazine titled Art Discussion Topics.
- In addition to my usual workshop titled “Design and Personal Style”, I teach “Understanding Contemporary Art”, which had no painting, just intensive sitting. It is something that many artists need, and to have it compacted into 3 or 5 days is a good way to get a general understanding of it in a short time.
![]() The Complete Painter’s HandbookIn our new special issue,American Artist guides you through the most important aspects of the painting process, from selecting your materials to preparing a canvas to advanced techniques for accurately depicting landscapes and figures |
![]() Technique is not the answer. Expression (passion, content, intent, meaning) is the answer how to open an investment with exness social trading. Find out what you want to express with your heart and your head, and then use technique, design, materials and subject matter to deliver that expression. And remember that one teacher’s technique will not be the right one for you. That singular technique delivers the teacher’s expression, not yours. You have to find your own. – Alex Powers |
